Meda Marie Rogich of Westminster, Maryland, passed away peacefully at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore on May 21, 2026. Born at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri, on July 7, 1961, Meda lit every room she entered with warmth, laughter, and a creative spark that touched family, friends, and community alike.
Known for her generous heart, resolute spirit, and quick wit, Meda found joy in simple pleasures: thrifting for hidden treasures, crafting with curious hands, cooking beloved recipes, and sharing stories that became family lore. Her home was a gathering place where recipes, laughter, and kindness were freely given.
Above all, Meda’s greatest pride and joy were her family. She is survived by her husband of 32 years, Charles “Charlie” Rogich; daughters Jessica Schellenberg and Michelle Schellenberg; granddaughters Kira “Kier” Schellenberg, Lyric Rogich, and Lyla Rogich; and her sister, Benita Rae Bramel, who will carry forward her stories and love.
Meda was preceded in death by her daughter, Nicole Marie (Schellenberg) Roe; sister, Vesta Gay Todd; and parents, Vesta Mae (Henson) Bramel and George Landford‑Earl Bramel.
In keeping with her wishes, Meda’s ashes will be laid to rest beneath a cherry tree at her Westminster home, a living memorial where family and friends can visit, remember, and celebrate her life. Her creativity, generosity, and love will remain with us always.
