Karen Ann O'Leary

Karen O’Leary, born on September 7, 1956, in Baltimore, Maryland, to the late Robert Fisher and Margaret L. Fisher, passed away peacefully on March 30, 2026, at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center.

A lifelong resident of Baltimore City and Baltimore County, Karen dedicated more than five decades of service to the Social Security Administration, retiring on April 30, 2025. Her remarkable career reflected her commitment, diligence, and unwavering work ethic.

Karen was an active member of the Italian Women’s Group, where she built lasting friendships and found great joy in fellowship. She cherished life’s simple pleasures—spending time reading, enjoying meals out with friends, and visiting the movie theater. Karen had a special love for birds, a fondness for the color blue, and was a devoted fan of the San Francisco 49ers.

Karen will be remembered for her warmth, humility, intelligence, and sense of humor. She touched the lives of many with her kindness and genuine spirit, leaving behind a legacy of love and compassion that will not be forgotten.
