In Loving Memory of Albert Davis May 14, 1943 – October 10, 2026
Albert Davis, affectionately known as “Al” or “Pop,” was born on May 14, 1943, in Greenville, South Carolina, to the late Allen Fleming and Sarah Lee Davis. He grew up alongside his beloved older sister, Willie Mae Boozer (March 13, 1941–September 11, 2025). On October 10, 2026, Albert peacefully transitioned from this earthly life, leaving behind a lifetime of cherished memories, laughter, faith, and love.
Albert received his education in Greenville before relocating to Baltimore, Maryland, where he made his home and built a life centered on family, friendship, faith, and community. While living in Baltimore, he became the proud father of his only son, Terrance Anthony Davis, born on March 11, 1970. Terrance preceded his father in death on March 15, 2001. The deep love and bond Albert shared with his son remained forever in his heart.
A hardworking and dedicated man, Albert spent many years working at Liberty Medical Center before retiring after a long career of service. He was a God-fearing man who valued his relationship with the Lord and enjoyed attending church. Over the years, he worshiped at New Shiloh Baptist Church and New Psalmist Baptist Church, where he found fellowship and spiritual nourishment.
Those who knew Albert will remember his wonderful sense of humor. He was always joking, laughing, and finding ways to bring a smile to those around him. Family gatherings were especially meaningful to Al, and if good food was being served, everyone knew he would stop by to grab a plate. If you ever wondered where to find him, a stop at Mondawmin Mall might do the trick. You could often find him there talking, laughing, and spending time with friends. Albert truly enjoyed people, conversation, and the simple moments of fellowship that make life special.
Albert leaves to cherish his memory his loving granddaughter, Jasmine Davis; his beloved great-granddaughter, Cali Rice, both of Baltimore, Maryland; his adopted daughter, Latoya “Buffy” Jones; his dear best friend, Rose; and a host of loving family members and friends.
Albert’s life was filled with faith, laughter, family, friendship, and unforgettable moments. Those who loved him will miss his humor, his familiar presence at family gatherings, his conversations, and the joy he brought simply by being himself. Though he is no longer physically with us, the laughter he shared, the love he gave, and the memories he created will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
Rest peacefully, Al. Your laughter may be quiet now, but your memory will forever bring a smile to those who loved you.

Pop,
I wasn’t ready to say goodbye, but I thank God for every moment and memory I was blessed to share with you. I’ll miss your jokes, your laughter, and all the little things that made you who you were. No matter how much time passes, you will always have a special place in my heart. Rest peacefully, Pop. I love you forever, and I will carry you with me always.
Love,Jay
